Additional steps for the products 12K44 and 12K50
NOTICE
Misalignment during installation of the electronics housing
Misalignment during installation results in the risk of loss of contact or short-circuiting of the spring contacts. The
mechanical strength can also be reduced due to thread misalignment. The circuit board and the edge of the lam­
ination ring must be parallel to each other.
Complete the following additional steps to seal the product:

2) Lubricate the groove, inner edges and thread of the
lamination ring with special grease.
1) Thoroughly lubricate the plugs of the connecting
cables (electrodes, switch, battery) with silicone
grease.
2) Remove the blanking covers from the electronics
housing.
3) Connect the plugs to the electronics housing.
4) Thoroughly seal the plugs and remaining blanking
covers from above with silicone grease.
5) Push the electronics housing, including the connec­
ted cables, into the lubricated lamination ring and
press firmly.
INFORMATION: A loud popping sound must be
audible.
6) Check the fit of the electronics housing.
INFORMATION: The circuit board of the elec­
tronics housing and the edge of the lamination
ring are flush/parallel to each other.
