1 SCSI DRIVE 1 - 6 connectors (miniature D-sub
50-pin, SCSI-2 standard)
Correspond to SCSI buses 1 - 6 of the VideoStore
system. The unit sends and receives MPEG-2 data to
and from the VSH-1000 via these connectors.
Connect to the VSH-1000's DRIVE 1 A to 6 A
connectors using the SCSI cables supplied with the
VSH-1000.
2 MU (media unit) STATUS IN connector (D-sub
25-pin, female)
Receives status information signals from the VSH-
1000 Media Unit. Connect to VSH-1000's MU
STATUS OUT connector using the MU STATUS
signal cable supplied with the VSH-1000.
3 CONTROL 232C (D-sub 9-pin, male, RS-232C
standard) and 422A (D-sub 9-pin, female, RS-422A
standard) connectors, and selection switch
Use the switch to select the connector you are using,
and connect the selected connector to the host
computer's RS-232C or RS-422A connector via an
RS-232C or RS-422A cable (not supplied).
