6. Setup

6.1 Battery insertion (Fig. 1-3)

Products that are not marked as sterile must be sterilized according
to the respective instructions prior to use.
CAUTION
The batteries GA 616 may on no account be sterilized since
heating to above 65 °C causes irreparable damage.
The following procedure should be followed for the sterile preparation
of the battery saw:
The funnel 6 (sterile) is mounted on the machine held upside down
(battery shaft facing upwards).

The battery 4 (unsterile) is then introduced into the charging shaft
by a second person (the battery cannot rotate), and the funnel 6 is
removed and is placed in the unsterile room.

The closure 2 (sterile) is then mounted and is securely snapped in.
The closure ensures complete tightness so that there is no danger
of contamination of the operating site by the unsterile battery.
