5 Structure and function
The appliance is a compact device ready to plug in.
The appliance is supplied ready for use and has its
own control unit.
The appliance is pre-programmed ex works.
The appliance contains one or more hermetically
sealed refrigerant circuits whose components are per-
manently and technically tightly connected to each
other.
The design of the individual appliance models may
vary.
The appliance is equipped with a solid or transparent
lid.

Depending on the appliance model, individual interior
equipment is possible.

The appliance is equipped with stacking marks (see
→Loading).
To make changing locations easier, the appliance is
equipped with swivel castors.
The appliance is designed for the operating mode
deep-freezing "-". The waste heat generated in the ap-
pliance is transferred to the ambient air via a liquefier.
NOTE
Material and property damage from ice for-
mation on the cooling surfaces.
▪ The operating company must defrost the appliance
completely at regular intervals (complete defrost-
ing).
For hygienic reasons, complete defrosting (see
→Complete defrosting) with subsequent cleaning
must be carried out.
6 Control and display ele-
ments
6.1 Temperature display
The temperature of the appliance is set at the factory
to ensure compliance with the M-package temperature
class specified by the manufacturer (see →Technical
data).

6.2 Thermostat
The thermostat serves to set the temperature.
The thermostat is located on the side in the venting
grille. 1 rotary knob is available as operating element.
