Cleaning agents and equipment
NOTE
Material damage due to use of incorrect
cleaning agent.
▪ Do not use abrasive or chemically aggressive de-
tergents/solvents.
▪ Do not use acids or alkaline detergents.

cleaning equipment.
▪ Do not use hard, pointed objects such as steel
blades.
▪ Do not use hard, coarse cleaning equipment such
as steel wool or paper towels.
Material damage due to use of too much
cleaning agent.
▪ Use only cleaning equipment moistened with clean-
ing agent.
Material damage due to incorrect cleaning.
▪ No cleaning agent residues may remain on plastic
parts and seals.
▪ Always subsequently clean plastic parts and seals
with clean water.

Cleaning steps during operation

Open the lid.
–
If required, move the goods to another appliance
with the same product temperature class.

Remove food residues (e.g. due to breakage of
packaging) and packaging residues.

Close the lid properly.

Clean the outside of the appliance surfaces.
–
Clean the outside of the glass surfaces.

Dry all cleaned parts and surfaces.

Clean the floor around the appliance.
Cleaning steps with cooling function

Move the goods to another appliance with the
same product temperature class.

Pull out the mains plug.
–
Allow the appliance to defrost.
–
Remove the lid (see →Setup and installation).
–
If required, take accessory parts out the inside of
the appliance (see →Setup and function).

Remove food residues (e.g. due to breakage of
packaging) and packaging residues.

Remove defrosting water.
Appliance with defrosting water plug in the defrosting
water drain (optional):
–
Place a collecting tray underneath the drain.
–
Remove defrosting water plug.
–
Drain the defrosting water.
–
Reinsert the defrosting water plug.
