3.4. Temporary installation
For the installation tests, we recommend that at first, you do not cut the probe, but place
the device higher (book, flat stone, brick, wooden board, ...) to obtain an immersion depth
of 15 (+/-3 cm). You must make sure that the device remains stable during the fall tests.

Put the 4 pieces of stabilizing foam in place.

Position the device at the selected location.

Check the immersion depth.

The immersion depth must be between
12 and 18 cm (ideally 15 cm).
Place the wedge plug (provided with the
fastening kit) at the end of the tube.
The rigid tube must be at least
5 mm away from the edge of the coping.
If your immersion depth is
greater than 18 cm, use a booster (book, flat
stone, brick, wooden board...), making sure it
does not destabilize your central unit.

Carefully place a 2 to 3 kg weight on top of
the device to hold it in place.
