Connecting Instrument to the PC

1. Turn ON the computer and open the ORION Link software.
2. Turn ON the instrument and wait until it is in the Measuring mode.
3. Locate the instrument about 1 inch away from the infrared adaptor
(with input spigot pointing toward the infrared sensor when viewing
the instrument from the rear).

4. On the Start screen of the ORION Link software, select
CONNECT INSTRUMENT.
5. On the window that opens, select the:
• interface (COM1, COM2 or others) connected to the infrared
adaptor (FIGURE 5-6)
• scope of information:
• Instrument information
• Sensor data and settings
• Stored event data (over a specific time period)
• Stored measured values (over a specific time period)
