tube on itself as shown so as to create a safety siphon if there
is a failure of the safety valve.
Then connect the valve to the Venturi fitting using another sec-
tion. Secure all using plastic clamps.
NOTE: pay attention to the direction of installation of the valve,
as shown in the figure.
- make the electrical connection, running the cable (h) through
the indicated cable clamp and connecting it to the respective ter-
minals (refer to enclosed electrical diagrams).
Connect the attachment left free on the selector valve to the
provided ground drainage point, using PVC pipes.
NOTE: before making any plumbing connection to the filter, fill
it with the provided quartz sand (refer to relative chapter).
Connect the two pipes for suction-hydromassage to the cor-
responding pumps, equipping them with PVC ball valves.
Connect the other two pipes for return to the hydromassage
nozzles to the corresponding pumps, equipping them with PVC
ball valves.
If required, connect the blowers (optional on some models)
to the spa, making sure to create a siphon (detail B), about 15
cm high with respect to the spa, and as near to it as possible (
1a, 1b, 1c - 2a, 2b, 2c).
The siphon is obligatory and is necessary in order
to prevent the water from entering the pipes of the
blower and coming into contact with the electrical-
ly live parts, in the event of failure of the non-return
valve, installed in the factor on the minipool side.
If the blower is to be used for the aroma therapy treatment,
insert the perfume cartridge in the blower connection pipe as
shown. Once this cartridge is finished, it can be replaced by
simply unscrewing the plug and replacing it with a new one (car-
tridges are available from authorised dealers and technical serv-
ice centres).

SAND FILTER AND SELECTOR VALVE

This is a quartz sand filter, composed of a very sturdy ther-
moplastic container, an internal distribution system in anti-cor-
rosive material and a manual selector valve with 7 positions
(6 operating and 1 standby).

Filling sand

During the installation phase, before filling the system with water,
the filter must be filled with the provided sand. The suggested
amount is indicated on the sticker on the outside of the filter).
This is done as follows:
Disconnect the pipes from the filtering pump and from the
heater (heat exchanger, if installed) and remove the selector
valve. Then cover the opening of the pipe with the flange (in-
cluded) and pour the quartz sand into the container.
Pour the sand in slowly, distributing it evenly around the pipe.
Make sure that the pipe does not come out of its housing.
When you have finished, remove the flange and keep it for the
next time you need to replace the sand. Clean any residues from
the edge of the container.
Put the selector valve back in place. Re-connect the pipes which
were previously removed and then make the connections to the
ground drainage point (also connect the total drainage valve of
i
the filter, located at the bottom of it, as shown in the figure).
