◁ Continuous measurement ends and the shortest distance determined during continuous measurement
is displayed.
4.2.4 Trigger'Maximal'
The tool records the greatest distance registered during continuous measurement.
Note
This measuring program is particularly helpful if a measurement has to be taken in a hard-to-reach
area, such as in the corner of a ceiling.
4.2.5 Measuring maximum distance
1. Press the "Measure" button once.
◁ Continuous measurement begins.
2. Press the "Measure" button again.
◁ Continuous measurement ends and the longest distance determined during continuous measurement
is displayed.
4.2.6 Trigger'Horizontal'
During continuous measurement, the tool only records values registered at an incline of 0°.
Note
This measuring program is particularly helpful if a measurement has to be taken at a completely
horizontal angle but you do not have a tripod to hand, by ensuring that the tool does not deviate from
a horizontal orientation.
4.2.7 Measuring horizontal distances
1. Press the "Measure" button once.
◁ Continuous measurement begins.
2. Aim the tool at approximately 0°.
◁ At exactly 0° the tool takes a measurement automatically, ends continuous measurement and displays
the horizontal distance.
4.2.8 Trigger'Vertical'
During continuous measurement, the tool only records values registered at an incline of 90°.
Note
This measuring program is particularly helpful if a measurement has to be taken at a completely
vertical angle but you do not have a tripod to hand, by ensuring that the tool does not deviate from a
vertical orientation.
4.2.9 Measuring vertical distance
1. Press the "Measure" button once.
◁ Continuous measurement begins.
2. Aim the tool at approximately +90° or -90°.
◁ At exactly +90° or -90° the tool takes a measurement automatically, ends continuous measurement
and displays the vertical distance.
4.2.10 Delayed measurement using 'Timer'
When measuring using the 'Timer' function, the tool takes a delayed measurement after the measure button
is pressed. This delay can be set to 3, 5, 10 or 15 seconds.
Note
The 'Timer' function cannot be combined with the assisted measuring methods.
