Overlocking
With the Kenmore 2/3/4D, you can trim, overedge and
seam--all in one operation-- when making shirts,
blouses, swimsuits and any type of knit sportswear.
The flat narrow seam allowance can be pressed to one
side.
For functional serging, the color and weight of all threads
should match the fabric you are sewing.
Note:
We recommend using a conventional sewing
machine to sew a row of straight stitches over the
needle thread line to reinforce seams in high
stress areas.
