The position signal at terminals 30, 31 is a current signal of 4-20 mA.
 Connect the actuator to the supply voltage, see wiring diagram.
 Use terminal 4 at the power supply unit for permanent supply.
LED arrangement
Colour green
LED 1
 Check, whether the positioner has been connected correctly:
o Correct, if the LEDs 1, 2 and 4 light up green
o Wrong, if LED 3 lights up
 Check the connections and pay attention to the polarity of the setpoint value input.
A setpoint value error has occurred if:
o LED 1 green is on
o LED 2 flashes or LED 2 is off
o LED 3 red is on
 If the positioner is correctly connected: Do a learning run, see Chapter 7.5
"Performing a learning run".
The learning run is missing if:
o LED 1 green flashes
o LED 2 green is on
o LED 3 red is on
When changing from standard operation to other operating modes, the green LEDs
flash, depending on whether the SET or the ACTUAL value is suppressed.
Priority of the messages:
1) ACTUAL value
2) SET value
3) Control error
4) other operating modes
