3.2 INDIRECT HEAT BOILING PANS
THERMOSTAT
The appliance is fitted with a thermostat which stops activation
of heating in the event the water in the jacket falls below the sa-
fety level. The red indicator light on the control panel switches
on. Heating will restart after the water level in the jacket has
been restored. See " FILLING THE JACKET ".
PRESSURE SWITCH
The appliance is equipped with an automatic reset pressure
switch which interrupts heating when steam pressure in the
jacket exceeds optimum levels. Heating restarts when steam
pressure returns to an acceptable level. The intervention of the
pressure switch ensures reduced consumption of water in the
jacket and reduced appliance energy consumption overall.
MANOMETER
The appliance is equipped with a manometer, positioned on
the control panel, which indicates the steam pressure inside
the jacket.
SAFETY VALVE JACKETED
The appliance is equipped with an automatic safety valve (H1),
positioned on the countertop, which releases the steam con-
tained in the jacket when steam pressure approaches 50kPa
(0,5bar).
ANTI-DEPRESSION VALVE
The appliance is equipped with an automatic valve, positioned
on the countertop, which allows air to enter the jacket when the
appliance cools.
3.3 AUTOCLAVE PANS
STEAM DISCHARGE VALVE
The appliance is equipped with an automatic valve, built into
the lid, which discharges steam built up in the tank when steam
pressure approaches 5kPa (0,05bar).
SAFETY VALVE
The appliance is equipped with an automatic safety valve (H2),
built into the lid, which discharges steam built up in the tank
when steam pressure approaches 6kPa (0,06bar).
