Switch on the light localizer
To switch on the light localizer press the second button
from the top on Control Panel A.
The light localizer is used for adjusting the head accord-
ing to the Frankfurt horizontal plane (FH) for lateral
exposures. It extinguishes automatically after about
three minutes. The light line is reflected approximately in
this area. Have the patient move the head downwards or
backwards until positioning is correct.
•
Slightly slacken the locking screw (20)
•
Swing down nose support.
•
Position nose support vertically at the height of the
root of the nose and push back gently. To do so, hold
the nose support at the top front on the scale
(value 70).
•
Tighten locking screw again.

NOTE
For symmetric exposures, the nose support must be re-
moved completely or replaced with the contact plate
(30), see page 14.

manuell
('Program values - Teleradiography', see page 22).
The exposure time is always 16s and cannot be
changed with the corresponding - + buttons.
The patient symbol buttons are preprogrammed with kV/
mA combinations. To change these values, see the
'Programming for teleradiographs' section.
The values of the horizontal and vertical scales on the
nose support and the height adjustment display value
shown on Control Panel A for the set height can be
noted for any repeat exposures that may be required for
the same patient.
