Nose support

Grip at the top, pull out up to the stop and swing up out
of the way.
ATTENTION
During an exposure the nose support may not simply be
swung out of the way under any circumstances. If it is not
required, remove it completely.
Ear olive pieces grip at the top and push out to the side.

Rotate cephalometer

21
The cephalometer is rotatable. It clicks into place at 0°
and 90°. The 0° position is for lateral exposures.
To adjust the cephalometer slacken the locking screw
(21). In addition to lateral exposures, a.p. and p.a. pro-
jections as well as carpal exposures are possible.
A
= asymmetric, for lateral exposures.
Diaphragm No. 30 image receiver and secondary dia-
phragm on head support are in position A.

Set S-position

S = symmetric, for a.p, p.a. and carpal exposures.
Diaphragm No. 40
Image receiver and secondary diaphragm on head sup-
port are in position S.
For normal symmetric exposures, set the rotation unit of
the cephalometer to 90°.
The nose support must be removed.
For this purpose, slightly slacken the locking screw (20).
Instead of the nose support, contact plate (30) has to
be inserted and fastened with locking screw (20).
