7.14 Front Panel Enable (FPE).

Allows the Control Panels "hot-swap", that is without to switch off the Power Source, in order to replace
the one with an other equal or the one in complete version (art. 208.00).
NOTE: For such operation it is necessary that the version of the (PANEL) program resident in the
Control Panels is compatible with the (MASTER) program resident in the Power Source,
otherwise the "new" Control Panel could not working correctly.
In order to obviate to the problem, performe the Welding System Firmware update (Power Source
+ Control Panel + Wire Feeder Unit) by means of the "Cebora Device Manager" program and
relative procedure.
Press for a time longer than 3 seconds the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menù.
Use knob N to select FPE on display O; use knob Q to select the function status, visible on display P:
OFF = not active (default);
On
= active.
With the function FPE active, disconnect the cable (1) (fig. 3) from the Control Panel (24) that intend to
replace and connect it to the new Panel that intend to install. It is not necessary to switch off the Power
Source.
Press briefly the key E to exit the "Second Functions" menù, saving all current settings automatically.
The new Control Panel, as soon as installed, is ready to operate.

7.15 Factory setup (FAc).

Available starting with the firmware in release 4 for art. 287 and 06.09.10.10 for art. 289.
Operative in Parameter Selection Internal mode.
Sets the Power Source Firmware to the original factory conditions.
Press for a time longer than 3 seconds the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menu.
Use knob N to select FAc on display O; use knob Q to select the type of operation to carry out, visible on
display P:
noP = not operative, no settings are changed (default);
PrG = restores only the programs saved by the user (Jobs) to factory settings. The existing saved
programs are deleted;
ALL = restores both the Jobs and the function parameters to the factory settings (e.g., the Cooling
Unit is shut off).
Press the AZ key for a time longer than 3 seconds; an acoustic signal (beep) signals that the settings have
been changed, display P flashes for 2 seconds, and after that, Control Panel displays FAc and the
operation type done (PrG or ALL).
Press briefly the key E to exit the "Second Functions" menù, saving all current settings automatically.

MAINTENANCE.

8.1

Periodic inspection, cleaning.

Periodically make sure that the Welding System equipment and all connections are in proper condition to
ensure operator safety.
Check the condition of the internal connections and connectors on the electronic boards; if you find
"loose" connections, tighten or replace the connectors.
Check the condition of the connector cable (1) and corresponding electrical connectors; replace if
damaged. After performing a repair restore the wiring to its original condition.
