5.3

Adjustments from Robot Terminal.

5.3.1
Welding Power (or Speed Set point).
Welding current or wire speed regulation.
Operative in Standard Program mode, Pulsed Arc Program mode and Manual mode.
The "Welding Power" adjustment may be activated using the "Welding Power disable" function,
controlable with dip switch S1-1 on Robot Interface RAI211.00, or with dip switch DIP3-1 on Robot
Interface RAI217.00:
 with "Welding Power disable" not active (S1-1 or DIP3-1 = OFF) (default) the control of the
"Welding Power" regulation is entrusted to the Robot Terminal;
 with "Welding Power disable" active (S1-1 or DIP3-1 = ON) the control of the "Welding Power"
regulation is entrusted to the Control Panel.
On Control Panel, display O indicates the regulation value of the parameter indicated by leds AU, B, C or
D.
5.3.2
Arc Length Correction.
Sets the Arc Length Correction, expressed in absolute value.
Operative in Standard Program mode, Pulsed Arc Program mode and Manual mode.
The "Arc Length Correction" adjustment may be activated using the "Arc Length Correction disable"
function, controlable with dip switch S1-2 on Robot Interface RAI211.00, or with dip switch DIP3-2 on
GB
Robot Interface RAI217.00:
 with "Arc Length Correction disable" not active (S1-2 or DIP3-2 = OFF) (default) the control of the
"Arc Length Correction" regulation is entrusted to the Robot Terminal;
 with "Arc Length Correction disable" active (S1-2 or DIP3-2 = ON) the control of the "Arc Length
Correction" regulation is entrusted to the Control Panel.
On the Control Panel, the values –9.9 to 9.9 are shown on display P, when the led J is off.
Normally the led J is lit in order to indicate that display P shows a welding voltage; during the "Arc
Length Correction" variation, the correction function is marked automatically, for the duration of 5
seconds, by the extinction of the led J and from the corresponding value on display P of the Control
Panel. Elapsed such period the Control Panel returns in the previous state.
5.3.3
Inductance Correction.
Available only with RAI211.00 Robot Interface.
Sets the Inductance Correction variation, expressed in absolute value.
Operative in Standard Program mode, Pulsed Arc Program mode, Parameter Selection Internal
mode and Manual mode.
The "Inductance Correction" adjustment may be activated using the "Inductance Correction disable"
function, controlable with dip switch S1-3 on Robot Interface RAI211.00:
 with "Inductance Correction disable" not active (S1-3 = OFF) the control of the "Inductance
Correction" regulation is entrusted to the Robot Terminal, in the Standard Program mode, Pulsed
Arc Program mode and Manual mode, and entrusted to the Control Panel in the Parameter
Selection Internal mode.
 with "Inductance Correction disable" active (S1-3 = ON) (default) the control of the "Inductance
Correction" regulation from Robot Terminal is blocked while remains qualified from Control Panel
in the Parameter Selection Internal mode.
On Control Panel the regulation value is visualized on display P, when on display O is recalled the
parameter L (Inductance Correction), inside the "Second Functions" menu (par. 7.10).
Regulation range: -9,9 ÷ 9,9, default = 0,0 (on display P of Control Panel).
The negative number indicates the lessening of the inductance and the arc becomes harder; the positive
one indicates the increase of the inductance and the arc becomes sweeter.
