CEBORA S.p.A.
7.10 Inductance Correction (L).
Available only with RAI211.00 Robot Interface.
Sets the Inductance Correction variation, expressed in absolute value.
Press for a time longer than 3 seconds the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menù.
Use knob N to select L on display O; display P shows the function value (indication expressed in
absolute value).
Regulation range: -9.9 ÷ 9.9, default = 0.0.
The negative number indicates the lessening of the inductance and the arc becomes harder; the positive
one indicates the increase of the inductance and the arc becomes sweeter.
The "Inductance Correction" adjustment may be activated using the "Inductance Correction disable"
function, controlable with dip switch S1-3 on Robot Interface RAI211.00:
 with "Inductance Correction disable" not active (S1-3 = OFF) the control of the "Inductance
Correction" regulation is entrusted to the Robot Terminal, in the Standard Program mode, Pulsed
Arc Program mode and Manual mode, and entrusted to the Control Panel in the Parameter
Selection Internal mode.
 with "Inductance Correction disable" active (S1-3 = ON) (default) the control of the "Inductance
Correction" regulation from Robot Terminal is blocked while remains qualified from Control Panel
in the Parameter Selection Internal mode.
When the Control Panel is operating, knob Q executes the "Inductance Correction" function value
regulation and the key AZ, pressed for a time longer than 3 seconds, resets the function to the default
value (0.0 on display P).
Press briefly the key E to exit the "Second Functions" menù, saving all current settings automatically.

7.11 Double Pulse (dP) (optional on art. 287).

Operative in Standard Program mode and Pulsed Arc Program mode.
This type of welding varies the current intensity between two levels and may be included in all synergic
programs.
Before setting, it is necessary to make a short bead to determine the speed closest to the type of welding
that you will be doing. This determines the reference speed.
Press for a time longer than 3 seconds the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menù.
Use knob N to select dP on display O; with knob Q select the function status, visible on display P:
OFF = not active (default);
On
= active.
With the dP function active, other parameters become available.
 FdP on display O (double pulse frequency); use knob Q to select the working frequency, visible on
display P. Regulation range: 0.1 ÷ 5 Hz, default = 1.5;
 ddP on display O (difference in m/min of the double pulse); use knob Q to select the speed that is
added to and subtracted from the reference speed, visible on display P. Regulation range: 0.1 ÷ 3
m/min, default = 1.0;
 tdP on display O (duration of the highest wire speed, meaning with the highest current, expressed as a
percentage of the time drawn from the frequency Fdp (fig. 7)); use knob Q to select the percentage
visible on display P. Regulation range: 25 ÷75%, default = 50;
 AdP on display O (arc length of the highest current); use knob Q to select the percentage visible on
display P. Regulation range: -9.9 ÷ 9.9, default = 0.0.
