RE-START AFTER LONG PERIOD OF INACTIVITY
If the machine is re-started after a particularly long period of inactivity,
operate as indicated in Chapter 6 regarding commissioning.
If the machine functions anomalously, act as described in Chapter 9

regarding "Diagnostics". if the problem should persist or is not considered,
contact the Authorised After-Sales Centre immediately.
8.5
HOW TO REQUEST TECHNICAL AFTER-SALES ASSISTANCE
Choose one of the following options to request after-sales assistance:
1. contact the Authorised After-Sales Centre;
2. telephone the Zhermack After-Sales Service at +39 0425.597.611 and
proceed as follows: give personal data (e.g. address and telephone
number); state the information given on the machine identification plate
(see paragraph 3.5); explain the problem with the machine clearly;
3. fax all of the information stated in the previous point and the correctly
filled-in identification form (see Attachment 10.2) to the following n° +39
0425.53.596.
CHAPTER 9: DIAGNOSTICS
9.1
GENERAL WARNINGS
If any of the anomalies described below should occur, solve the
problem, where allowed, with respect to all instructions
contained in this manual. If the problem persists, contact the
Authorised After-Sales Centre.
9.2
TROUBLESHOOTING
FAULT
No material extrudes from the mixing tip when the
activation button is pressed.
CAUSE
1. Part of the material has hardened in the cartridge.
2. The material has hardened in the mixing tip (also previously
used).
3. The pistons are blocked or incorrectly positioned.
4. There is no more material inside the cartridge.
REMEDY
1. Replace the cartridge.
2. Use a new mixing tip.
3. Press the piston activation button repeatedly to position
them correctly.
4. Check the cartridge level indicator. Replace the cartridge if
necessary.
FAULT
The cartridge cannot be removed or introduced.
CAUSE
1. The pistons have not returned to the start position.
2. The pistons are blocked inside the cartridge and motorised
retraction does not work.
REMEDY
1. Press the activation button and make the pistons go back to
the start position until they stop automatically.
2. Remove the plug from the mains. Remove the right side
cover and use an Allen wrench to manually release motorised
retraction.
FAULT
The mixing tip does not turn.
CAUSE
1. Hardened material in the mixing tip.
2. The mixing tip is not correctly inserted into the cartridge.
REMEDY
1. Use a new mixing tip.
2. Check correct positioning between the mixing tip and the
mixing shaft.
FAULT
The machine does not work.
CAUSE
1. Power supply cable malfunctioning.
2. The door is open or not closed properly.
REMEDY
1. Contact the Authorised After-Sales Centre.
2. Close the door properly.
