4.2.2

L5 led - Arc length.

Indicates that an "Arc Length" correction is in progress.
D2 shows the value (-9.9 to +9.9, default = 0).
A negative number indicates a reduction in the arc length,
a positive number its extension.
In Parameter selection internal mode, the value of the
correction may be changed using the M2.
Even when output voltage is selected on D2 (L4 lit), the
value of the correction may be changed by using M2.
In this case, the "Arc Length" correction is temporarily
(3 s) indicated by the L5 lit and D2 shows the value.
Once the 3 s have elapsed, the control panel returns to the
previous state.
In the other operating modes (excluded in Job mode), the
value of the correction may be changed using the "Arc
Length Correction" adjustment from the robot terminal.
Even when the output voltage is selected on D2 (L4 lit),
by adjusting the "Arc Length Correction" from the robot
terminal it is possible to change the value of the correction.
In this case, the "Arc Length" correction is temporarily

(3 s) indicated by L5 lit and D2 shows the value.

Once the 3 s have elapsed, the control panel returns to the
previous state.
4.2.3

L6 led - Inductance.

Indicates that an "Inductance" correction is in progress.
D2 shows the value (-9.9 to +9.9, default = 0).
A negative number indicates that the inductance is being
reduced and the arc becomes harder; positive indicates an
increase in the inductance, and the arc becomes softer.
In Parameter selection internal mode, the value of the
correction may be changed using M2.
In the other operating modes (Job mode excluded) the
value of the correction may be changed by adjusting the
"Inductance Correction" from the robot terminal.
Even when the output voltage is selected on D2 (L4 lit),
by adjusting the "Inductance Correction" from the robot
terminal it is possible to change the value of the correction.
In this case, the "Inductance" correction is temporarily
(3 s) indicated by the L5 lit and D2 shows the value.
Once the 3 s have elapsed, the control panel returns to the
previous state.

4.3

T3 key - Gas Test.

Always operative (MIG and TIG).
Causes gas to be emitted from the torch.
Has "bistable" operation: the first time it is pressed causes
gas to be emitted, while pressing it a second time interrupts
the flow. If the second pressing does not takes place and
welding does not begin, gas output is automatically
interrupted after 30 s.
4.4

T4 key - Wire test.

Always operative (MIG only).
Causes the wire to move forward with an initial speed of
0.7 m/min, which after 5 s increases to 8 m/min, in approx-
imately 0.7 s.
Everything takes place without generating the output volt-
age to the power source and without gas output from the
torch.
4.5

M1 knob.

Operative in Parameter selection internal mode, it ad-
justs the values indicated by L1, L2 and L3.
The value is shown on D1.
4.6

M2 knob.

In Parameter selection internal mode, it adjusts the val-
ues indicated by L4, L5 and L6.
The value is shown on D2.
In Job mode, if the "Job number" selected = 0 (zero), it
selects the "Job number" to be called up, shown on D2.
In the other operating modes allows the temporary indica-
tion (3 s) of the "arc length" correction on D2.
4.7

L7 led - Globular position.

When lit, it signals that the pair of values for "Wire speed"
and "Welding voltage" chosen for welding may give un-
stable arcs and splatters.
4.8

L8 led - Hold.

Activated at the end of each welding session.
When lit, it signals that the values shown on D1 and D2
(normally current and voltage) are those stored by the
power source at welding end.
These values are saved at the end of each welding session.
