Panel Error.

Available only with function "Robot interface" active.
Allows the control panel removal from the welding system
to avoid accidental triggering.
Possible states: OFF = not active;
ON = active (default).
With the function activated (ON), the control panel is an
integral part of the welding system and therefore must al-
ways be connected to the power source (Fig. 2.1).
With the function not active (OFF), the control panel is
excluded from welding system and can be disconnected
and removed from the plant.
The removal can also be done by "hot unplugging", with-
out the need to turn off the power source, having previ-
ously set the function OFF.
With the control panel removed, the welding system will
continue to operate with only the commands received by
the CNC.
8.2.6

Use PIN.

Allows to choice whether or not to use a PIN code to re-
store the conditions from:
− complete control panel block (see Safety Function, par.
4.9);
− block values to the functions of the Settings menu by
prohibiting access to the menu.
Possible states:
OFF
= not active (default);
ON
= active.
With the function activated, the attempt to deactivate the
Safety function or to access the Settings menu, will be
asked to enter the 4-digit PIN code.
With T10, T11, T12 and T13 dial the code, then press T7
(OK) to disable the block or to access the Settings menu
functions.
Once entered the Settings menu, with the "Use PIN" func-
tion active, L9 flashes warning the active state of the func-
tion.
The code of first supply of the control panel is "0 0 0 0"
(four times zero).
8.2.7

Change PIN.

Allows to change the 4-digit PIN code.
From the Machine menu, with T12 to accessed the func-
tion, on D3 will be prompted to enter the new code and at
the same time the current PIN code is shown.
With T10, T11, T12 and T13 dial the new code, then press
T7 (OK) to confirm and exit.

Factory setup.

Sets the power source settings to the original factory con-
ditions.
Excluded:
− language setup;
− clock adjustment;
− CAN bus setup.
Three restore modality are available:
− All
complete restoring.
− Jobs only
restores only Job working programs.
− Exclude Jobs restores all but saves Job working
stored.
With T10 or T11 select the restore modality.
Press T7 (EXEC) to execute the setup and return to the
previous page.
8.4

Languages.

This is the menu for selecting the language of the texts that
appear on D3.
Press T12 to access the D3 massages language selection
page.
With T10 or T11 select the language.
It will be asked whether to continue, the power source will
be restarted; press T7 (OK) to accept and restart the power
source.
Restart process begins and ends with the main page of
Fig. 4.
If the language has not been changed press T13 to return
to the previous page.

MAINTENANCE.

9.1

Periodic inspection, cleaning.

Periodically make sure that the Welding system equip-
ments and all connections are in proper condition to ensure
operator safety.
Check the conditions of the internal connections and con-
nectors on the electronic boards; if you find "loose" con-
nections, tighten or replace the connectors.
Check the conditions of the connector cable (1) and corre-
sponding electrical connectors; replace if damaged.
After performing a repair restore the wiring to its original
conditions.
