PROCESS PARAMETER MENU.

The menu is accessible from the main page of Fig. 4:
− with T12 to access to the Main Menu, T10 or T11 to
select Process Params, T12 again to access the menu
(see Menu Map, par. 10);
− with the shortcut key T7 (PAR).
The menu lists all the parameters that the user can change
depending on the selected welding process.
Inside the "Process Parameters" is possible to directly
save by pressing T6 key (MEM).
G
By pressing T5, the initials DEF appear on correspond-
B
ence of T7, pressing of which will set the default parame-
ters to the process shown on D3.
In this menu, all parameters that have an adjustment range
have the "adjustment screen" similar for all parameters, in
which appear:
− the name of the parameter that is being fixed;
− the value and measure unit;
− adjustment scale;
− the abbreviations for the shortcut keys:
MIN = minimum of regulation, T6;
MAX = maximum of regulation, T8;
DEF = default value, T7.

The values adjustment may happens with T10, T11 or M2
knob or T6, T7 and T8 keys.
Press T13 in order to exit the menu saving all current set-
tings.
7.1
Process.
Process type selection.
The welding processes are:
− MIG
, pulsed (optional).
− MIG - , MIG/MAG synergic welding;
− HD MIG, MIG/MAG synergic high deposit;
− Root MIG, MIG/MAG synergic for vertically down-
ward welding;
− Man MIG, MIG/MAG conventional welding;
For processes details and settings, refer to the Instruction
Manual of the "manual" power sources that use the same
"DIGIBOX MIG P4" panel (e.g.: art. 319.00, 320.00 etc.).
7.2

Material.

Active in MIG/MAG processes.
Welding wire material type selection (see example in Tab.
10).
7.3

Diameter.

Active in MIG/MAG processes.
The welding wire diameters are related to the material se-
lected type (see example in Tab. 10).
7.4

Gas.

Active in MIG/MAG processes.
The usable gases are related to the material selected type
(see example in Tab. 10).
7.5
Arc Length Correction.
Available in MIG/MAG synergic and MIG Root.
Allows the arc length correction, expressed in Volt.
parameter
Arc Length Corr.
(V)
7.6

Inductance correction.

Available in all MIG/MAG processes than MIG HD.
Allows the Impedance value correction.
parameter
Inductance Corr.
