PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIR
WHEELS
To maximise performance, durability and safe operation, note
1
the following points:
•
Always check wheels before using the vehicle. Make sure there
2
are no cracks, bends or warpage and ensure that spokes are
taut and in good repair. If any wheel damage is found, contact
your
Dealer. Do not attempt even the smallest repair

to the wheel. A deformed or cracked wheel must be replaced.
•
Tires and wheels should be balanced whenever either tire or
4
wheel has been changed or replaced. An unbalanced wheel
can result in poor performance, adverse handling characteris-
tics, and a shortened tire life.
5
•
Ride at moderate speeds after changing a tire since the tire
surface must first be "broken in" for it to develop its optimal
characteristics.
