REMOVING THE REAR
MUDGUARD
Carefully read p. 44 (MAINTENANCE).
◆ Position the vehicle on the centre stand,
see p. 43 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE
ON THE STAND).
WARNING
Before carrying out the following
operations, let the engine and the exhaust
silencer cool down until they reach room
temperature, in order to avoid burns.
◆ Unscrew and remove the screw (1).
◆ Unscrew and remove the screw (2) and
the washer.
◆ Remove the airbox air scoop clamp and
remove it to gain access to the screw (2).
◆ Unscrew and remove the screw (2).

Screw (2) and screw (1) driving torque: 7
Nm (0.7 kgm).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, properly position
bushing (3).
◆ Unscrew and remove the screw (4).
Screw (4) driving torque: 27 Nm (2.7 kgm).
When removing and refitting the rear
mudguard, take care not to damage the
throttled body.
◆ Remove the rear mudguard (7).
