G.hn domain name
The G.hn domain name determines the name of
your G.hn network and is automatically assigned
when pairing.
Resetting an adapter or removing it from a net-
work
To remove a Giga Bridge adapter from your

network, click on Leave G.hn network.
Wait until the LED flashes white and then dis-

connect the Giga Bridge adapter from the
mains supply.
Both devolo Giga Bridge adapters have to
be configured identically (SISO or MIMO
mode) in order to establish a connection
with each other.
Be aware that new or reset Giga Bridge adapters
will not be found and integrated automatically
if the existing Giga Bridge adapters are in MIMO
mode. Set all Giga Bridge adapters back to SISO
mode to enable integration of new Giga Bridge
adapters.
G.hn mode
Depending on whether you have connected the
two Giga Bridge adapters via a telephone or
devolo Giga Bridge
coaxial line, the SISO or MIMO operating modes
are available to you. If you use all four telephone
lines during installation via telephone line, you can
select MIMO mode here.

* The MIMO operating mode is only suitable when
using existing telephone lines and for short-dis-
tance data transmission. Therefore, SISO operating
mode is recommended.
When using the MIMO operating mode, both wire
pairs must be connected to the termination box
during installation of the Giga Bridge. Please con-
sider the correct pin assignment of the MIMO oper-
ating mode: Pin 4/5 as well as 3/6.
SISO operating mode is set by default.
