If you would like to change the settings made in
the wizard at the beginning, you can restart the
wizard here and set up the Giga Bridge adapter
again.

4.3.6Firmware

In the Firmware area, you can find information
about the firmware currently installed and also
configure various settings.
Firmware update
The currently installed firmware of the
Giga Bridge adapter is displayed on the
overview page (see 4.3 Overview).
The firmware of the Giga Bridge adapter includes
the software for operating the device. If necessary,
devolo offers new versions on the Internet as a file
download. The firmware update can be initiated
automatically or manually.
Automatically search for updates
The Giga Bridge adapter can look for up-to-date
firmware automatically. To do this, enable the op-
tion Regulary check for firmware updates.
The Giga Bridge lets you know when a new
firmware version becomes available and asks if
firmware should be updated.
Automatic Update
With the Automatically install firmware updates
option enabled, the Giga Bridge automatically in-
stalls the firmware it has found.
Manually initiate a firmware update
Download the appropriate

devolo Giga Bridge to your computer.
Follow the steps from chapter 4.1 Calling up

the built-in web interface
Note: If the Giga Bridge is connected to the LAN
port of the router, there is no active Internet
connection when you call up the web interface!
