3.6 Resetting an adapter or
removing it from a network
To remove a Giga Bridge adapter from your
Giga Bridge network and successfully restore its
entire configuration to the factory defaults, please
proceed as follows:
Keep in mind that all settings that have al-
ready been made will be lost!
Press and hold the reset button longer than

10 seconds.
Wait until the LED flashes white and then dis-

connect the devolo Giga Bridge adapter from
the mains supply, if necessary.
Note: Be aware that reset Giga Bridge adapters
will not be found and integrated automatically
into an existing Giga Bridge network as the
Giga Bridge adapters of your existing network are
already in paired mode. To integrate a reset adapt-
er again into an existing Giga Bridge network,
please proceed as described in chapter 3.3.2 Man-
ual pairing and/or 3.5.2 Expanding the existing
Giga Bridge network by adding another adapt-
er.
