LED
Deactivate the LED enabled option if the LEDs of
the Giga Bridge adapter are to be switched off in
normal operation. An error status is indicated by
corresponding flashing behaviour regardless of
this setting.
PowerSave mode
If the Power saving mode enabled option has
been activated, the Giga Bridge adapter automati-
cally switches to PowerSave mode whenever re-
duced data transmission over Ethernet is detected.
The latency (time for transmitting a data
packet) may be negatively affected.
Power saving mode is disabled in the Giga Bridge
adapter's factory default settings.
Standby
If the Standby mode enabled option is activated,
the Giga Bridge adapter automatically switches to
standby mode if no Ethernet connection has been
enabled, i.e. if no network device (e.g. computer) is
switched on and connected to the network inter-
faces.
