23 Initial use

Lay the cable in a barrier-free manner and
ensure that the electrical socket and the
connected network devices are easily ac-
cessible
3.4.1Starting up a new Giga Bridge net-
work
Wiring using a telephone line
Connect one end of the provided network

cable to the G.hn phone line socket (phone) on
one of the Giga Bridge adapters.
Connect the other end of the provided net-

work cable to the G.hn phone line socket
(phone) of the other Giga Bridge adapter.
Connect both Giga Bridge adapters to an avail-

able power socket. The LEDs of both adapters
flash white. A new Giga Bridge network is
automatically set up (pairing).
After a short time (within three minutes),
the flashing LED becomes a steady white
light. The Giga Bridge adapters have suc-
cessfully established a network.
The adapters connected with each other
can now be placed at the desired locations
of use.

Connect the end of the coaxial cable to the

coaxial socket (coax) on one of the Giga Bridge
adapters.
Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to

the coaxial socket (coax) of the other
Giga Bridge adapter.
