9. Maintenance, cleaning, storage

9.1 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Immediately after training, switch the device off, and unplug it.
• After training, remove sweat from the device and its remote control with a dry or slightly wetted cloth.
Never use agressive cleansers. Never let any humidity enter a housing.
• Make sure the Product label stickers and, if available, others are attached and readable.
9.2 STORAGE
• The storage site of the device must fulfill these requirements:
- Dry and clean indoor area, free from explosive or flammable substances and dust
- Temperature within permitted range for operation (see technical data)
- No direct sunlight
• For longer storage, protect the device against dust.

9.3 REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY

1.
Remove the wristband from the housing of the remote control.
2.
Open the round cover on the back of the remote control.
3.
Note the polarity of the old battery. Remove the battery.
4.
Insert the new battery with proper polarity.
5. Re-attach the cover and close it.
6. Reassemble remote control and wristband.
7.
Dispose of the old battery properly according to local regulations.

10. Troubleshooting

Malfunction

Contact customer service if any problems or doubts persist.
Possible reasons
• Electrical power cable not
connected properly
• Power switch is not switched on
• Fuse has tripped.
• Device stands on hard ground
• Device is not horizontal
• Battery is empty
• Operating distance too far
• Standard duration has been
exceeded
• Control overloaded
• Motor problem
Measures
• Connect the power cable correctly
at both ends.
• Switch on the power switch, the
display lights up.
• Switch the fuse on again or have it
replaced.
• Place the device on an underlay.
• Align the unit horizontally by
adjusting the feet.
• Replace battery
• Step closer to the device.
• After a break of 10 minutes, try
again.
• Switch off device, disconnect from
the electrical grid and restart it.
• Switch off device, disconnect from
the electrical grid and restart it.
• Contact customer service if
necessary.
