4.2.3 Tank connection for excess sludge return
The tank connection for sludge return is attached to the dome shaft.
For the mini tank dome, the sludge return is to be attached to the upper hole and is to be laid with an in-
cline to the first tank (to the second tank for four-tank systems).
For the maxi tank dome, the sludge return is to be attached to the middle hole and is to be attached to the
lower hole in the first tank.

4.2.4 Note for four-tank systems
Each SBR tank has its own sludge return. The individual sludge returns are merged into one pipe and
routed into the first preliminary cleaning tank. Details can be taken from the technical drawings.
