Standard Constant Pressure Operation
D D r r i i v v e e R R u u n n n n i i n n g g
When the SubDrive Connect is controlling the motor and pump, the following infor-
mation will be shown on the illuminated display:
•
S S y y s s t t e e m m P P r r e e s s s s u u r r e e ( ( 1 1 ) ) : : When using a pressure transducer, the system displays
a numerical pressure reading (in PSI), followed by a "P" suffix to distinguish it
from motor speed. The "P" will steadily flash on and off when the drive is run-
ning the motor.
•
M M o o t t o o r r / / p p u u m m p p s s p p e e e e d d ( ( 2 2 ) ) : : When using a standard pressure sensor, the system
displays the current motor speed (in Hz).
S S y y s s t t e e m m I I d d l l e e
When the SubDrive Connect is powered on and idle (not pumping water), the fol-
lowing will be shown on the illuminated display:
•
S S y y s s t t e e m m P P r r e e s s s s u u r r e e : : When using a pressure transducer, the system displays the
resting pressure reading with the "P" steady (not flashing).
•
M M o o t t o o r r / / p p u u m m p p s s p p e e e e d d ( ( 3 3 ) ) : : When using a standard pressure sensor, the system
displays three dashes "– – –" indicating that the motor is not running.
F F a a u u l l t t D D e e t t e e c c t t ( ( 4 4 ) )
When a fault condition is detected in the system, the drive display will illuminate
red and the fault code will be displayed. Fault codes begin with "F" followed by a
one- or two-digit number. Refer to
information.
Moisture Sensor
If the system is equipped with a moisture sensor, the drive will stop pumping and
display Fault 25 when the sensor detects the presence of water.
•
If using Firmware version 2.1.0 or later, drive power must be cycled to clear the
fault.
•
If using Firmware prior to version 2.1.0, the fault will clear automatically when
moisture is no longer detected.
This does not replace the need for a pressure relief valve in the system.
The default setting for a Franklin Electric Moisture Sensor is F F a a u u l l t t w w i i t t h h H H i i g g h h . When
using a relay input from other external control devices, the setting may need to be
changed to F F a a u u l l t t w w i i t t h h L L o o w w .
