Duplex Alternator Feature
Switching Interval
When operating two drives using the Duplex Alternator function, this parameter sets the accumulated
run time (hours) before the lead and lag systems will alternate roles.
• 1 to 24 hours
• Default = 1 hour
The Switching Interval time setting on the controller configured as Pump 1 sets the interval time for the
overall system.
When the Duplex Alternator function is operating, the status of the Duplex Alternator system is shown
on the Monitor screen of the app. The roles of the lead and lag pump can be manually switched by
pressing the Switch Pumps button in the FE Connect app.
