Battery Replacement
WARNING
Contact with hazardous voltage could result in death or serious injury.

Do not attempt to replace battery until power has been removed and 5 minutes have
passed to allow internal voltage to discharge.
CAUTION
Risk of bodily injury or equipment damage.

Never place lithium batteries in mouth. If swallowed, contact your physician or local poison
control center.
•
If battery is damaged, do not use.
•
Battery shall be serviced or replaced by a qualified serviceman.
•
Battery is to be disposed or recycled per national, regional, and local laws and regulations.
Do not place in the trash, in water, or incinerate.
The SubDrive Connect uses a replaceable battery to power the real
time clock for fault and configuration change logging. The battery
is located to the left of the display.

Battery type: CR 2032 3V.
Fan Replacement
In the event that the cooling fan fails and results in an occurrence of frequent Overheated Drive faults
(Fault 7), refer to
"Accessories" on page 59
Enhanced Pressure Input Board Replacement
In the event that a lightning strike creates a surge on the various I/O terminals of the drive, the En-
hanced Pressure Input Board (EPIB) can become damaged, causing the drive to not operate. Rather than
replacing the entire drive, the EPIB can be replaced in an attempt to repair the drive. Refer to
