II TRANSPORT AND COMMISSIONING
The manufacturer will not be held liable for personal harm and/or
damage to objects deriving from incorrect commissioning and/or
by failure to comply with work accident-prevention standards.
This lack of compliance causes the warranty to terminate.
These operations are reserved exclusively for authorised from
the manifacturer and qualified personnel.
1
PRELIMINARY INSPECTION
The machine is transported at the risk and peril of the customer. If you noti-
ce any damage to the packaging, immediately inform the carrier.
Inform the carrier immediately after opening the package if the machine is
damaged even if a few days after delivery.
It is always preferable to accept goods SUBJECT TO CLEARANCE.
2
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Any transport of the machine must be carried out in compliance with the
regulations in force regarding the transport of flammable substances.
The handling of this machine must be carried out with extreme
care and in compliance with the regulations on the prevention
of accidents at work in force in the country where it is installed.
Wear personal protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, etc.). Two
or more persons are required to move this machine safely. Failure to
do so may result in injury or damage to the machine.
Storage temperature must be between 0 °C
and +50 °C (32 °F - 122°F), and humidity
must be between 30 and 95% with no dew
(fig.II/01).
Refer to the data sheet inside this manual to
verify that the positioning surface is compati-
ble with the weight of the machine.
Check that the storage room is adequately
ventilated and that, in the presence of flame
ignition sources (e.g. open flames, gas bur-
ners, electric heaters, lit cigarettes, etc.),
these are positioned at such a distance from
the machines not to be dangerous in the
event of any refrigerant leaks.
It is recommended that the room be equipped with a gas leak detection
device of a type suitable for the refrigerant used (R290).
The device must be stored in such a way as to avoid mechanical damage. In
case of damage, contact the authorized technical assistance.
Open the packaging with the utmost caution, taking care not to smoke, use
open flames and/or any other source of flame ignition because, in case of
anomaly, there could be an explosive atmosphere inside the packaging
itself.
Have a dry powder or CO
fire extinguisher available.
2
Once the appliance has been unpacked, the packaging must be kept in a
dry place out of the reach of children. If stored properly, it can be reused if
the machine is moved.
For unpacking and repacking procedures, refer to the document
"UNPACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS" applied to the packaging of the machine.
3
COMMISSIONING PLACE, POSITIONING
The handling of this machine must be carried out with extreme care
and in compliance with the regulations on the prevention of acci-
dents at work in force in the country in which it is installed. If neces-
sary, equip yourself with personal protecti-
ve equipment (safety shoes, gloves, etc.).
Two or more persons are required to safely
move this machine. Failure to comply may
result in personal injury or machine dama-
ge.
For Indoor Use Only: This machine is desi-
gned to operate indoors under normal am-
bient temperatures of 16 °C e 32 °C (61 °F -
90 °F).
The freezer has successfully performed in
high ambient temperatures of
104 °F (40 °C) at reduced capacities.
Humidity must be between 30 and 85% with
no dew (fig.II/02).

Locate the machine in places that are not excessively ventilated, protect it
against drafts and avoid direct sunlight.
Make sure the appliance is positioned on a solid, stable, flat and levelled
surface.
Refer to the data sheet inside this manual to verify that the positioning surfa-
ce is compatible with the weight of the machine.
Block the machine by acting on the relevant brake lever on the rear wheels
(fig.II/03).
Check that the room is adequately ventila-
ted and that, in the presence of flame igni-
tion sources (e.g. open flames, gas burners,
electric heaters, lit cigarettes, mobile pho-
nes, etc.), these are positioned at such a
distance from the machines not to be dan-
gerous in the event of any refrigerant leaks.
Have a dry powder or CO
available.
Check that the place where the machine is
installed is correctly illuminated.
It is mandatory to position the machine far away from equipment
which emits electromagnetic radiation which could cause its malfunctioning.
Place the machine in areas where use and maintenance is possible only by
trained personnel. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to physi-
cal damage or machine failure.
In case of recessed positioning, ensure adequate circulation of fresh air to
the space below the machine and to the front panel on the operator's side.
Caution: Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure
or built-in structure free from obstructions.
In case the commissioning foresees an even partial recess of
the machine inside the furniture, avoid any configuration that
could lead to gas accumulation on the floor in case of leakage, as this
could cause safety risks (fig.II/04). It is compulsory to provide an ade-
quate air exchange between the floor and the lower part of the machi-
ne; if necessary, provide: ventilation grilles and/or extractor fans with
certification for ATEX environments.

COMMISSIONING
This machine should be installed in accordance with the exi-
sting local codes. Please contact your local authorities.
Caution: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. During commis-
sioning, do not pierce or heat with a flame the refrigerant circuit
at any point or damage the external parts as they could cause
refrigerant gas leaks. In case of damage, do not use and contact
the authorized technical assistance.
