No side effects that affect the entire body have been reported to date.
Correct fitting is assumed. Do not fit the MalleoLoc® too tightly, as otherwise
local signs of pressure can occur. In rare cases, constriction of blood vessels
and nerves may occur. If this happens, loosen the straps of the MalleoLoc®
and, if necessary, check the size of your MalleoLoc®.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity reactions harmful to health have not been reported to date.
In the following conditions such aids should only be fitted and applied after
consultation with your physician:
• Skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, particularly if
inflammation is present. Likewise, any raised scars with swelling, redness
and excessive heat build-up
• Impaired sensation and circulatory disorder of the legs or feet, e. g. in
diabetes mellitus
• Impaired lymph drainage. including soft tissue swelling of uncertain
origin located some distance away from the support.
Application instructions
Putting on / taking off the MalleoLoc®
Sit down to put on the MalleoLoc®.
Open the two velcro straps.
