2. Disassemble and repair diesel injection
1) When disassembling the fuel injector, make the front of the nozzle face
up and secure it in the vise using a bronze protection to prevent damage.
Unscrew the nut to pull the parts out of the valve and nozzle and remove
the needle to soak it in clean diesel. Turn the injector 180º and fix it.
Release pressure of nuts to remove the pressure adjustment spring and
the top rod.
2) If parts of the needle valve are glued or spraying is not good, clean
immediately. If parts of the needle valve are attached, soak them in
diesel for some time, and then grasp and pull gently to avoid tearing the
needle valve with pliers. When cleaning valve parts, scrape with a piece
of wood with gasoline or diesel; a piece of metal is not allowed. When
the needle valve and its parts are not smooth or movement is inflexible,
a rectification adjustment can be performed. Use clean diesel when
rectifying. Rectifying the parts should not affect the needle valve or its
support, so clean making sure not to leave any other metal.
4.4 Adjusting the lubricating oil pressure
Adjustment of the oil pressure is shown in Figure 3. Loosen and tighten the
nuts with a wrench to make the oil pressure be between 200-400kPa
(allowed to be greater when the machine is cold). Screw bolts after adjusting.
