Operation
Gas reading (PV), measured value status (PV_STATUS) and device status are
relayed to the controller via a WirelessHART
mode.
Alarms
Alarms configured in the gas warning device are not transmitted via the
®
WirelessHART process interface. Alarms are only output via the red LED.
They are strictly for information and to locate a gas warning device that is
raising an alarm and are not intended to be used as the basis for a safety
measure. The alarms are non-latching. When alarm conditions are resolved, the
alarm is no longer displayed.
If alarm logic is used for countermeasures, implement alarm logic in the
controller.
