Fixtured Tightening Module
WARNING Moving Parts
Never operate the machine with the cover lid open. Mov-
ing parts can cause bodily injury, especially to the hands.
Always close the cover lid before operating the ma-
chine.
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-
skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
• The Screw Feeding Unit shall only be operated indoors in
dry rooms.
• Make sure that the Screw Feeding Unit is placed on a flat
surface.
• The Screw Feeding Unit must not be used in explosive
environments, e.g. near flammable liquids, explosive
gases or in dusty areas. The Screw Feeding Unit can
cause sparks that can cause dust or gases to ignite.
• Proceed with care in unfamiliar surroundings. Be
aware of potential hazards created by your work activity.
This tool is not insulated from coming into contact with
electric power sources.

WARNING Occupational Entanglement Hazard
Choking, scalping or other severe bodily injuries can oc-
cur if loose clothing, jewellery, neck ware, and hair is not
kept away from tool or accessories.
Never operate the tool wearing loose objects.
Never wear gloves when operating the tool.

away from rotating drive or accessories.
Service and Maintenance
General Service and Maintenance Safety
Always keep the controller switched off during service in or-
der to avoid unexpected start-up.
The product must only be installed, operated and serviced by
qualified personnel in an industrial environment.
Cleaning Instruction
Equipment should be wiped off with a damp/wetted cloth.
Only use water, no cleaners containing solvents should be
used.
Contact your Atlas Copco service technician for cleaning ad-
vice as per current recommendations and for your particular
tool.
Regular Cable Inspections
Regularly inspect the power cable and the tool cable. If the
cables show any sign of damage, replace them.

Preventing ESD Problems
The components inside the product and controller are sensi-
tive to electrostatic discharge. To avoid future malfunction,
make sure that service and maintenance is carried out in an
ESD approved work environment. The figure below shows an
example of an appropriate service work station.
General Service and Maintenance Safety
WARNING Risk of severe injury
Air under pressure can cause injury.
Always shut off the air supply when not in use or be-
fore any adjustments.
Drain the hose of air pressure and disconnect the tool
from air supply when not in use or before any adjust-
ments.
Always use the correct hose size and air pressure for
the tool.
WARNING Cutting Hazard
Sharp objects can cause injuries, especially to the hands.
Always wear cut resistant gloves when changing
components, making repairs or removing a blockage.
• Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
• Always keep the controller switched off during service in
order to avoid unexpected start up.
• Troubleshooting and restart of the system may only be
carried out by an authorized person.
• Clean the components and the connecting cables with a
damp cloth. Only use water, no cleansers containing sol-
vents should be used.
Projectile hazards
WARNING Projectile Hazard
Never use compressed air to clean the product. Projec-
tiles can cause serious injury, especially to the eyes.
Never use compressed air to clean the product.
Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to clean the prod-
uct.
• Always wear impact resistant eye and face protection
when involved with or near the operation, repair or main-
tenance of the tool or changing accessories on the tool.
