Safety Information
• Be sure all others in the area are wearing impact resistant
eye and face protection. Even small projectiles can injure
eyes and cause blindness.
Electrical hazards
WARNING Electrical Hazard
Risk of electric shock.
Always disconnect the machine and equipment from
all power sources before carrying out any mainte-
nance or repair.
WARNING Power Supply Cable
Use the Atlas Copco original power supply cable. Using
an incorrect power supply cable can result in bodily in-
juries to yourself or others.
Always use an Atlas Copco original power supply
cable, if it needs to be replaced.
Always use original parts and accessories approved
by Atlas Copco.
• Damage to insulations of cables or electrical components
may pose life threatening risks.
• Damaged cables must be replaced immediately; they in-
crease risk of electric shock.
Additional Maintainance Safety Messages
WARNING Moving parts Hazard - Loose Tubes
Unexpected pneumatic movements of loose tubes cause
high outflows of compressed air. This may lead to severe
injuries especially to the eyes.
Always make sure that there are no damages or loose
hoses or fittings.
Always shut off the air supply, drain hose of air pres-
sure, and disconnect tool from air supply when not in
use, before changing accessories or when making re-
pairs.
Never direct air at yourself or anyone else.
Whenever universal twist couplings are used, lock
pins must be installed.
Do not exceed maximum air pressure of 5 bar / 73
psi, or as stated on the tool name plate.

WARNING Moving parts Hazard – Feeding Tubes
Unexpected pneumatic movements of the feeding tubes
cause outflows of screws at high speed. This may lead to
severe injuries especially to the eyes.
Always verify that all connections between the Feed-
ing Tube and the Swivel Arm are securely fastened
before pressurizing the tool.
The pneumatic power supply must be switched off
and vented during all work on the Screw Feeding
Tightening Module.
Always make sure that there are no damages or loose
feeding tubes or fittings.
Always shut off the air supply, drain hose of air pres-
sure, and disconnect tool from air supply when not in
use, before changing accessories or when making re-
pairs.
Never direct air at yourself or anyone else.
Whenever universal twist couplings are used, lock

WARNING High Pressure Hazard
Due to damaged or inadequately inserted compressed air
hoses into the couplings, air can escape under high pres-
sure and may cause injury to the eyes.
Regularly check the feeding tubes for damage.
In the case of damage to the pneumatic components,
the system must be switched off immediately, de-
aerated and secured against being switched on again.
And, proceed to repair.
NOTICE Disposal of System Components
Incorrect disposal of the system components leads to contami-
nation of the environment.
The components of the system must be disposed of via
designated collection facilities appointed by government
or local authorities.
For more information about disposal of your old product,
please contact your city office, waste disposal service, or
your Atlas Copco representative.
Safety instructions
Note: "spindle" or "torque spindle" can be used instead of
"power tool" or "tool".
Power supply and connection hazards
• WARNING - THIS POWER TOOL / SUPPLY UNIT
MUST BE EARTHED. Refer to installation instructions.
• Disconnect the power supply when not in use, before
handling the output drive or socket, adjusting or disman-
tling the tool.
• Disconnect the supply unit (or controller) from the mains
before servicing it.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the tool by the cord or
yank it to disconnect it from the socket. Keep the cord
away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Only use the cord supplied with the controller to connect
to the mains, and the cord supplied with the tool to con-
nect to the controller. Do not modify the cords or use
