4. Standard Ignition Switch: Turn the ignition switch
counterclockwise to the OFF position. See Operate
the Engine for engine operating procedures.
LSC: Reset the LSC controller by switching the
engine control panel ON / OFF switch to the 'OFF'
position and back to the 'ON" position. See Operate
the Engine for engine operating procedures.
Manual/Test Mode Operation
1. Press down the emergency shut-off valve toggle
switch (B, Figure 45) to the 'OFF' position to close the
valve.
2. Release the emergency shut-off valve switch to 'ON'
position to reset the valve to the open position.
3. Manual Mode: Identify the source of the issue, and
correct the issue.
Test Mode: Check functionality of the valve.
4. Standard Ignition Switch: Turn the ignition switch
counterclockwise to the OFF position. See Operate
the Engine for engine operating procedures.
LSC: Reset the LSC controller by switching the
engine control panel ON / OFF switch to the 'OFF'
position and back to the 'ON" position. See Operate

Emergency Stop
Some units are equipped with an emergency stop that
will immediately shut the entire unit down in case of an
emergency.
To Engage:
Push the emergency stop (A, Figure 46).
To Disengage:
Pull the emergency stop.
Make sure that you address the issue that caused the
emergency before you operate the unit again.
Unnecessary or excessive use of the emergency stop
may damage engine. Do not use the emergency stop to
shut down the unit during normal operation. See To Shut
Down The Engine.

Block Heaters
Frost Plug Style Block Heater
The light tower trailer can be equipped with an optional
400W, 3.3A, 120V, 60Hz electric, frost plug style block
heater. Use a grounded (3 prong) extension cord to
connect to the plug of the block heater to an appropriate
electric power source.
For the Kubota, Caterpillar and Perkins engines, the
A
block heater is located on the right side when viewed
from the fan side.
Low Fuel Beacon
The low fuel light beacon is an option that comes
with vertical light tower models equipped with an LSC
electonic controller.
The low fuel beacon (A, Figure 47) is an amber colored
light that operates in conjunction with an equipped fuel
level sending unit.
1. Flip the electronic controller switch to the 'ON'

position. The low fuel beacon will begin flash. Start
the engine on the electronic controller. During engine
operation the low fuel beacon will shut-off due to
sufficient fuel level or will flash when the fuel level
reaches 1/4 tank of fuel. Note: The default low fuel
setting on the electronic controller is 1/4 tank of fuel.
