Changing the Display

You can select between English or German
language displays. The factory preset
language is English. To change the display
to either language, do the following
procedure.
1 Turn the power off.
2 Press and hold 2. Then press POWER
to turn the power back on.
"English" or "German" appears on the
display for 1 second to indicate the
current setting. This setting remains in
effect until you change it again.
Changing the Display
Appearance
You can change the appearance of the
display with the DISPLAY MODE button.
Each time you press DISPLAY MODE, the
display switches between the different
settings as follows":

Full display/Normal brightness
Minimal display/Normal brightness
Minimal display/Dimmed
The setting remains in effect until you
change it again.
* The illustration shows the display of the ST-S311.
The ST-S211 is slightly different.
Storing FM and FM RDS
Stations (ST-S311 only)
For the easiest way to store FM and FM
RDS stations, use "Auto-betical select"
described on page 24.

Vous avez le choix entre l'anglais et
l'ailemand. La langue d'affichage préréglée
est l'anglais. Pour changer la langue,
procéder comme suit:
1 Mettre Vappareil hors tension.
2 Appuyer et tenir !a touche 2
enfoncée. Ensuite, appuyer sur
POWER pour remettre l'appareil sous
tension.
"English" ou "German" apparait sur-
l'afficheur pendant 1 seconde pour
indiquer le réglage actuel. Ce réglage
reste en vigueur jusqu'a ce qu'il soit
changé a nouveau.
Choix de l'aspect de l'affichage
Vous pouvez modifier l'aspect de l''affichage
par la touche DISPLAY MODE. Chaque
pression sur cette touche change
l'affichage comme ci-dessous":

Affichage complet/Luminosité normale
Affichage complet/Assombri
FM 27. S0MHs
Affichage minimal/Luminosité normale
Affichage minimal/Assombri
Le réglage reste en vigueur jusqu'a ce qu'il
soit changé & nouveau.

Mémorisation de stations FM et
FM RDS (ST-S311 uniquement)
La méthode de sélection "Auto-betical
select', décrite en page 24, est la maniére
la plus simple de mémoriser les stations FM
et FM RDS.
