Preset Tuning
Manually
This procedure shows you how to select
and store FM and/or MW/LW stations one
by one (ST-S211 non-European models:
FM and/or AM stations). This procedure is
useful if you want to select just which
stations to store, and for storing FM stations
with a very weak signal that may not be
stored using "Auto-betical select." (If you
want to automatically store every FM and/or
FM RDS station in your broadcast area, do
one of the procedures described on pages
22 or 24, depending on which tuner you
have.)
1 Select TUNER on the amplifier.
2 Tune in the desired station.
For details on tuning in stations, see
pages 14-18.
3 Press MEMORY.
The word MEMORY appears on the
display to show that the tuner is ready to
store a station. If after four seconds you
don't press any button, MEMORY will
disappear from the display. If this
happens, press MEMORY again.
4 Enter the two-character code under
which you want the station stored.
First, press SHIFT to select A, B, or C
(ST-S211: You can also select D). The
letter you choose appears on the
display. Each time you press SHIFT, the
letter changes. Then, press a preset
button 0-9. The tuner stores the station
under the two-character code.
If you make a mistake when entering a
code, press MEMORY again. Then enter
the two-character code again.
Notes
© If you move to another area, do this
procedure again to store the stations for
the new broadcast area.
® For details on tuning in stored stations,
see pages 28-34.
® (ST-S211) The STEREO/MUTE setting
will be stored along with the station.
(ST-S311) The following settings will be
stored along with the station: ANT (A or
B), ANTATT, IF BAND, STEREO/MUTE.
® The stations remain stored in the memory
for up to one month after turning the
power off.

Les démarches vous expliquent comment
choisir et mémoriser des stations FM et/ou
PO/GO une par une (modéles non
européens du ST-S211: stations FM et/ou
AM). Cette fonction est utile pour choisir
uniquement les stations que vous souhaitez
mémoriser et pour mémoriser les stations
FM aux signaux trés faibles qui ne peuvent
étre traitées par la fonction "Auto-betical
select" (si vous voulez mémoriser
automatiquement toutes jes stations FM et/
ou FM RDS de [a région, utilisez la fonction
de sélection "Auto-betical select" décrite a
la page 22 ou 24).
1 Sélectionner TUNER sur
lamplificateur.
2 Accorder la station souhaitée.
Pour les détails sur l'accord des stations,
voir pages 14 a 18.
3 Appuyer sur MEMORY.
MEMORY apparait sur l'afficheur pour
indiquer que le tuner est prét a
mémoriser une station. Si aucune
touche n'est pressée aprés quatre
secondes, MEMORY disparait de
Vafficheur. Si c'est le cas, appuyer de
nouveau sur MEMORY.
4 Entrer le code de deux caractéres
sous lequel mémoriser Ia station.
D'abord, appuyer sur SHIFT pour choisir
A, B, ou C (ST-S211: D est aussi
disponible). La lettre choisie apparait sur
Pafficheur. A chaque pression sur la
touche SHIFT, la lettre change. Appuyez
ensuite sur une touche numérique 0-9.
Le tuner mémorise la station sous le
code composé.
En cas d'erreur lors de |'entrée du code,
appuyer de nouveau sur MEMORY, puis
recommencer l'entrée du code.
Remarque
®Si vous déménagez dans une autre
région, refaites cette opération pour
mémoriser les stations correspondant a la
nouvelle zone d'émission.

®(ST-S211) Le réglage STEREO/MUTE est
mémorisé avec la station.
(ST-S311) Les réglages suivants sont
mémorisés avec la station: ANT (A ou B),
ANT ATT, IF BAND et STEREO/MUTE.
®Les stations sont conservées en mémoire
pendant un mois maximum apres la mise
hors tension du tuner.
