step 1, wait for the flashing two-
charatcter code to appear. Then use
the tuning knob to select the
desired station.
When the station you want to listen to
appears on the display, press PTY to
tune in the station. (Even if you don't
press PTY, the station will be
automatically tuned in after about 8
seconds if you stop turning the tuning
knob.)
During the scan in steps 5a and 5b
above, the two-character codes flash
and the tuner begins displaying
stations currently broadcasting the
selected program type as follows:
— By two-character codes. (2 second
display)
— By station frequency. (2 second
display)
— By station name. (4 second display)
If the program type that you select
is not currently being broadcast.....
"PTY not found" appears on the
display.
If the program type that you select
ends while PTY scanning.....
"Different PTY" appears on the display.
If another station is broadcasting the
same type of program, the tuner tunes
into it. Otherwise the tuner returns to
the original station.

sélectionner fa station souhaitée.
Lorsque la station souhaitée apparait
sur lafficheur, appuyer sur PTY pour
l'accorder. (Méme si vous n'appuyez
pas sur PTY, la station sera
automatiquement accordée au bout de
8 secondes si vous cessez de tourner
le bouton d'accord.)
Pendant le balayage aux étapes 5a et
5b ci-dessus, les codes de deux
caractéres clignotent et le tuner affiche
les stations qui émettent actuellement
le type de programme sélectionné,
comme suit:
— Par codes de deux caractéres
(affichage de 2 secondes)
— Par fréquence de station (affichage
de 2 secondes)
— Par nom de station (affichage de 4
secondes)
Si aucune émission ne correspond
au type de programme
sélectionné.....
"PTY not found" apparait sur
\'afficheur.
Si le type de programme sélectionné
se termine pendant le balayage du
type de station.....
"Different PTY" apparait sur l'afficheur.
Si une autre station est en train
d'émettre le méme type de
programme, le tuner s'accorde dessus,
sinon i! revient a la station originale.
