Meter setup to test circuit continuity:
•
Set the rotary switch to the Ω setting.
•
Press the "DWL" button until " " appears on the display. Now the meter is in continuity test function and
the meter defaults to the 400Ω range.

Insert the black lead in the "COM" jack.

Test probes across the circuit to be tested.
If the circuit is closed (resistance < about 40Ω), the meter will beep. If the circuit is open (resistance > 150Ω),
there is no beep.
