If you install the motor in moist
surroundings or areas with a high humidity,
ensure that the bottom drain hole is open.
As a result, the motor becomes self-
venting, allowing water and humid air to
escape. When you open the drain hole,
the enclosure class of the motor will be
lower than standard.
5.3.1 Cooling the motor

Install the motor allowing a distance of minimum
50 mm (D) between the end of the fan cover and
the wall or another fixed object.

Position the product with sufficient space around.
•
Make sure that the temperature of the cooling air
does not exceed 50 °C.
•
Keep cooling fins and fan blades clean.
