• overheated electrical components (e.g. fuses or terminals in switchgear cabinets)
• faulty or damaged parts of machinery (e.g. overheating due to faulty ball bearings)
The measuring tool is suitable for use indoors and outdoors. USA/Canada: Use the measuring tool only
indoors.
• For this product, use only Hilti lithium­ion batteries of the B 12 series. For this product, Hilti recommends
the use of the batteries stated in this table.
• For these batteries, use only Hilti chargers of the type series stated in this table.
3.4 Restrictions on use and misuse
The measuring tool is not suitable for the temperature measurement of gases.
Do not use the measuring tool for human-medicine or veterinary-medicine purposes.
