Changing button-cell battery
The measuring tool has a button-cell battery to enable it to save the date and time. The button-cell battery
has to be changed when it is discharged.
1. Remove the screw of the button-cell battery holder.
2. Ease the button-cell battery holder out of its slot (using a suitable tool if necessary).
3. Remove the empty button-cell battery and insert a new button-cell battery. Make sure that polarity is
correct. The positive pole of the button-cell battery must be facing opposite the direction in which the
battery is inserted.
4. Re-insert the button-cell battery holder into its slot. Make sure that the button-cell battery holder is
inserted correctly and fully, as otherwise protection against dust and spray is not ensured.
5. Re-install the screw of the button-cell battery holder and tighten it until hand-tight.
