7.6.1
Saving measured results
The measuring tool starts measuring as soon as it is switched on and it measures continuously until it is
switched off.
To save an image, aim the camera at the object to be measured and press the Save button. The image is
saved to the measuring tool's internal memory. Alternatively, press the Start/pause measurement button.
Measurement is paused and the frozen image is shown on the display. This lets you study the image
immediately and make changes to the settings (e.g. to the color palette). If you decide not to save the frozen
image, press the Start/pause measurement button to resume the measuring mode. If you decide to save the
image to the measuring tool's internal memory, press the Save button.
7.6.2
Recording a voice memo
You can record a voice memo to log ambient conditions or capture additional information about the thermal
image you saved. This is saved along with the thermal image and the visual image and can be exported later
on.
It is advisable to record voice memos as a way of ensuring better documentation.
The microphone is behind the keypad, beside the microphone symbol. Speak toward the microphone.
You can record a memo up to 30 seconds in length.
The voice memo is saved to the Gallery. Proceed as follows:
•
Press the Left function button to access the Gallery.
•
Press the Func button. Recording starts. Record all the relevant information.
•
To end recording either press the Func button again or press the Right function button.
•
To cancel recording, press the Left function button. After recording your voice memo you can play it
back.
•
To play back the recording, press the Func button again. The recording is played back.
To pause playback, press the Right function button. To resume playback after a pause, press the Right
function button again.
To stop playback, press the Left function button.
To record a new voice memo, delete the existing voice memo and start recording again.
7.6.3
Retrieving saved images
To retrieve thermal images saved in memory, proceed as follows:
•
Press the Left function button. The most recently saved photo appears in the display.
•
To switch between the thermal images saved in memory, press the Right button or the Left button.
The visual image is also saved along with the thermal image. To retrieve this image, press the Down button.
You can also view the saved thermal image as a full-screen image by pressing the Up button. In the full-
screen view the title bar is hidden after 3 seconds so that you can study all the details of the thermal image.
Use the Up and Down buttons to toggle between views.
7.6.4
Deleting saved images and voice memos
To delete individual thermal images or all thermal images, switch to the Gallery view:
•
Press the Right function button below the trashcan symbol. A submenu opens. You can choose whether
to delete only this image, only the associated voice memo (if you have recorded one) or all images. If you
want to delete only this image or the voice memo, confirm your intention by pressing the Func button.
•
If you want to delete all images, press the Func button or the Right unction button, then confirm your
intention by pressing the Right function button or cancel deletion by pressing the Left function button.
Data fragments of the images remain in internal memory and the images can be reconstructed. To delete
images irretrievably, go to the main menu and select 'Tool' → 'Factory settings'.

Data Transfer
The USB interface is for data transfer only. Batteries or other devices cannot be recharged via this port.
