Operation
1. Lay the appliance on a stable and even surface.
2. Weigh the ingredients as needed (See section "Using the provided digital scale" for details).
3. Locate the bread pan and turn clockwise to lock it in place. Fix the kneading blade onto the drive
shaft. It is recommended to fill the hole with margarine prior to placing the blade as this can prevent
the dough from sticking below the blade and facilitate kneader removal later.
4. Place ingredients in the bread pan. Put water or liquid substances first, then add sugar, salt and flour.
Always add yeast or baking powder as the last ingredient.
5. Make a small indentation on the flour. Add yeast to the indentation and ensure it does not come into
contact with the liquid ingredients or salt. Close the lid gently.
6. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply. The appliance
beeps once and the default program 1 and settings will be
shown on the display.
7. Press the "MENU" button to select the program.
Note: For the programs of BASIC, QUICK, FRENCH, ULTRA FAST,
WHOLE WHEAT, CAKE, SANDWICH, GLUTEN FREE and DIY, ensure
to put fruit ingredients in the ingredient box first.
8. Press the "COLOR" button to select the crust colour.
9. Press the "GRAM" button to select the loaf size (700g or 900g).
10. Set the delay time using the "TIME" button. This step may be skipped if you want the bread maker to
start immediately.
11. Press the START/STOP button to start.
12. Once baking completed, the appliance beeps 10 times. Press the START/STOP button for 2 seconds
to stop.
Keep-warm function: If the START/STOP button is not pressed after completion, the bread
will be kept warm automatically for 1 hour.
13. Open the lid. Turn the bread pan anti-clockwise to release, then gently pull it out by grasping the pan
handle.
14. Gently loosen the sides of the bread from the pan with a non-stick spatula. Never beat the pan on the
top or edge to avoid any risk of damage.
15. Turn the pan upside down and shake gently to drop the bread onto a rack or plate. Let the bread cool
down before slicing/serving.
16. After use, unplug the appliance.
Caution: The bread pan and bread are hot! Always handle with care and use oven mitts.
Caution: Before slicing bread, use the hook to remove the kneading blade hidden on the
bottom of loaf. Never attempt this by hand as the loaf is hot.
Note: Once baked any uneaten bread can be stored in a cool dry place. Bread can be stored for about
three days under room temperature. Storage time in the refrigerator amounts to ten days.
