IMPORTANT! Risk of destruction of the print-
ed circuit board. Disconnecting the starter battery
while the lawn tractor is running can destroy the
printed circuit boards of the "smart Cockpit".
■
Turn the ignition key to position "0" (i.e. igni-
tion switched off) before disconnecting the
starter battery.
■
Never operate the lawn tractor without starter
battery.
2.6.5.1
Bluetooth wireless module and AL‑
KO inTOUCH app
The "smart Cockpit" is equipped with a Bluetooth
wireless module. This allows you to couple your
smartphone to the lawn tractor without cables.
Coupling for the first time is possible within 60
seconds of turning the ignition key to any position
(position I, II or III).
After the initial coupling, connection to the Blue-
tooth wireless module is possible at any time as
long as the tractor is switched on.
AL-KO inTOUCH app
Your smartphone needs an Internet connection in
order to be able to install the AL‑KO inTOUCH
app and to use the Internet functions. The smart-
phone establishes the Internet connection either
via mobile radio or via WiFi.
The AL-KO inTOUCH app can be downloaded for
Android-based devices from the Google Play
Store and for iOS-based devices from the Apple
App Store:

Scan this QR code to find out how to install the
AL-KO inTOUCH app on your smartphone and
for further information on your appliance. You can
also use the app to connect your "smart-connect-
ed" appliance to the Internet.
1. Start the AL-KO inTOUCH app.
2. Create a user account under "Register" or log
in with your already existing account under
"Login". If you have previously registered in
our online shop, you can use this user ac-
count.
3. Add a new appliance via "Add new appli-
ance".
4. Follow the further instructions.

5. If your appliance is a "smart-connect"-en-
abled appliance, run the "smart-connect" wiz-
ard directly in the vicinity of the appliance.
6. Follow the further instructions.
In the event of malfunctions on the lawn tractor,
your dealer can help you via the AL-KO in-
TOUCH app. You have to grant the dealer ac-
cess to the AL-KO inTOUCH app for this.
NOTE Updates for the AL-KO inTOUCH app
are downloaded automatically via the Internet
(FOTA: Firmware update Over The Air).
2.6.5.2
Actions in the "Smart Home" /
"Smart Garden" (IFTTT)
You can trigger up to 3 IFTTT actions via the AL-
KO inTOUCH app (IFTTT: If This Then That).
These actions have to be defined beforehand at
https://ifttt.com/ (e.g. control of appliances in the
"Smart Home" or "Smart Garden", switching on
the watering system, opening the garage door).
IFTTT actions can be free or chargeable, de-
pending on the provider's subscription model.

"Cutting height adjustment with
memory function" option (07)*
* If not included in the scope of supply, the mem-
ory function can be retrofitted as an option.
The cutting height adjustment mechanism saves
the set cutting height if you need to lift the mower
into the transport position to empty the grass
catcher. This ensures that you can continue
mowing at the same cutting height after empty-
ing.

Use preselection lever (07/1) to preselect a
cutting height:
■
Position 1: lowest preselectable cutting
height
■
Position 6: highest preselectable cutting
height
■
Use height adjustment lever (07/2) to set the
transport position "7=T". This position is also
the highest cutting height (cannot be prese-
lected).
The preselected cutting heights 1 to 6 are clearly
visible from the driver's position in the window
(07/3) of the preselection lever. Use the height
adjustment lever to raise or lower the mower to
the preselected cutting height.
